CAGLE RESIDENCE

Inviting yet private. NJ Caine Architecture designed an intimate and welcoming pied-à-terre overlooking the Hudson river. As you enter, you are immediately met with a round foyer capturing the light from the living room windows. High gloss Hollander paint helps reflect the light and softly illuminates the interior. As you enter further into the apartment, the narrow glass doors to the guest bedroom/study allow for privacy. It was important for the bathroom to have an inviting element. With no windows available to this space, the choice was to use mirrors and white tile. The ceiling was elevated between beam drops to capture as much height as possible and a large mirror helps further open the space. The overall feel of the apartment is warm and inviting. Paul Mc Cobb pieces give the space a mid century modern edge.
