MANHATTAN TOWNHOUSE

Originally erected in 1865, NYC Landmarks approved NJ Caine Architecture to update the nondescript façade of this Manhattan townhouse and design an impressive Neo-classical limestone façade. The building was underpinned 18 ft. to accommodate a double height wine room. The entrance was enhanced by incorporating part of the sidewalk, working with NYC DOT. The rear of the building was increased 15 ft. and a new rear facade was designed and installed.
